About TASC

Welcome to TASC, Inc. of Illinois

TASC offers life-changing opportunities for people whose lives have been affected by substance use problems, mental health conditions, and justice system involvement.

We help men, women, and youth obtain the services that will help them succeed.

Through client advocacy, care coordination, case management, and direct clinical services, we support individuals in transitioning away from courts, prisons, and child welfare systems, and into treatment, recovery, and renewed hope in the community.

Statewide Services and National Consulting

There are a number of TASC programs throughout the United States. TASC, Inc. of Illinois, founded in 1976, is the most comprehensive program of its kind, providing services ranging from alternatives to incarceration to reentry services to health and family services in the community.

Individuals who receive TASC’s case management services are more successful, in terms of reduced drug use and reduced use of government programs, than those who don’t get TASC.

Last year, we served more than 18,000 individuals and families in achieving health and self-sufficiency. In addition, we provided clinical screening, assessment, and other services for more than 40,000 individuals involved in justice and corrections systems in Illinois.

In addition, through our Center for Health and Justice, we offer consulting, training, and broad-based public policy solutions nationally and internationally.
